Guardian of the Core is a prestigious position a position of governance and aid, a position of oversight and magic. Eight contestants were chosen to compete in the final trials. Those who showed promise were both royalty and commoner. But it was not the winners of the trials that gained the apprenticeship they were all trying for but the conduct of their character. This is a dark coming of age story, that has political, cultural and hierarchy at its core. Its a test for the reader to understand the significance of conduct, and character. The book brings into question equality, power, and privilege, can it be earned, learned or rewarded.. The characters are dynamic, and impressionable the story integrating and frightening in its format, and vision.”
